Some say that destiny is written in the stars; for me, it has always been written in wax.

My name is Elena Pernici and Elyne Candles is not just a brand, it is the heartbeat of a tradition that has lasted for four generations. I was born and raised amidst the intense scents of the family factory, where craftsmanship was not just a job, but the language with which we communicated with the world.

They say I have wax in my veins. From my ancestors, I inherited the patience of the craft and an eye for detail; and I have added the desire to innovate.

Each Elyne candle is the meeting point between a centuries-old heritage and a contemporary vision. I select every fragrance and every raw material with the care of one who knows that a flame is not just for illuminating, but for transforming an ordinary moment into a hymn to the joy of living.

For me, beauty cannot exist without respect for what surrounds us. I have chosen to eliminate all compromises, focusing on a quality that is, first and foremost, ethical:

• Regenerable design: I chose ceramic and porcelain for my containers not only for their timeless elegance, but because they are materials designed to last and to be reused as decorative objects, reducing waste.
• Renewable raw materials: I use exclusively a compound of vegetable and natural waxes, entirely biodegradable and free of petroleum derivatives.
• Clean combustion: my wicks are made of pure cotton, free of lead and harmful substances, to guarantee a safe and steady flame.

To me, a candle shouldn’t just provide light; it should ignite the senses and enrich the experience of those who choose it. That is why I wanted Elyne Candles fragrances to offer a true “fourth dimension”: the olfactory one.

To compose these atmospheres, I rely on the talent of Cristiano Canali, an artist perfumer who knows how to select strong and distinctive raw materials. Together, we have created true olfactory brushstrokes: notes of basil, vanilla, bergamot, mint, red berries, cedarwood, and jasmine blend to bring rare and precious settings to life, capable of telling a story or evoking an emotion every time you light them.

In carrying out this project, I collaborated with Marika Vecchiattini, a fragrance expert and instructor of Modern Perfumery at the Italian Perfumery Institute.
