Cookie policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on elynecandles.com, the Elyne Candles store operated by Elle Pernici SAGL. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies

Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your device. They can maintain your cart, remember a choice, or link visits and events. Pixels and other technologies can also transmit browsing information without creating a cookie.

Purposes and choices

Necessary: enable the store, cart, and payment to function, protect sessions, and store privacy choices.
Preferences: allow additional choices to be remembered to personalize your experience.
Analytics: help us understand how the store is used.
Marketing: allow us to measure campaigns and personalize advertising.

In the banner, you can accept, decline, or manage optional categories separately. Declining optional categories does not prevent you from making a purchase. The technologies necessary for the requested service will remain active.

Shopify

The store uses the Shopify platform. The table below lists the cookies provided by Shopify documentation for storefronts; their presence depends on the features used and the choices you make.

Cookie	Purpose	Indicated duration
_shopify_essential	Session, checkout, and store integrity	1 year
_shopify_test	Cookie support verification	1 minute
cart	Cart	2 weeks
cart_currency	Cart currency	2 weeks
localization	Cart country	1 year
_shopify_analytics	Analytics	1 year
_shopify_marketing	Marketing	1 year

For the complete list and updates, see the Shopify Cookie Policy, Merchant storefronts section. Browser limitations may shorten these durations.

Store-linked services

Facebook and Instagram (Meta): web and server integration is available for advertising activities. It can link browsing and purchase events to campaigns. Consent choices are managed in the banner; for the provider's technologies and durations, see the Meta Cookie Policy and its Privacy Policy.

Apntly: the app for managing appointments is installed, with web integration. When you use the appointment features, data processing is also described in the Apntly Privacy Policy.

Changing a choice

You can reopen the preferences using the button on this page and change or withdraw consent for future uses. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may prevent the cart or checkout from working. Deleting cookies may require you to express your preferences again.
